Description
The Texan Series 30" Vented Double Access Door (Item No. TEX-DDV30) is a vented double door for the area under a grill, a cleanup zone or a serving zone. It gives easy access to gas lines running to the grill and clear access to extra storage. The 30" size suits grills from 28" to 33", and the 36" size suits grills from 34" to 40".
The door measures 30" W x 20-1/2" H x 1-3/4" D and needs a cut-out of 28-1/8" W x 19" H. Each door has built-in vents for air and gas pass-through, so the pair works as a single vent location. Both doors open up to 120 degrees, which keeps the panels from dinging the island's exterior finish.
The frame and paneling are 304 stainless steel, with two solid 304 stainless steel rod handles. Its height matches the other Texan Series components. The even-toned No. 4 horizontal light brushed finish and large stainless steel rod handles sit well next to most other brands of grills and components. Texan Series components are built by Sunstone Metal Products LLC, a Texas company.

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
I just installed the Texan Series 30" Vented Double Access Door in my outdoor kitchen, and it's a perfect match for my 30-inch grill. The stainless steel feels really solid, not flimsy at all, and the vents are a nice touch for air circulation inside the cabinet. Installation was straightforward, and it really completes the look.
These 30-inch access doors are pretty good for the price. They fit well under my grill, and the double-door design is convenient for getting to the propane tank. My only minor complaint is that the magnetic closure could be a bit stronger, but they still stay shut securely.
Wow, I'm genuinely impressed with these Texan Series doors! The brushed stainless finish looks fantastic with my other appliances, and the vents are a smart feature to keep things from getting stuffy inside the cabinet. It's exactly what I needed to finish off my DIY outdoor kitchen build.
As a contractor, I appreciate quality products that are easy to work with. These 30-inch vented doors from Sunstone were simple to install into the island frame, and the stainless steel is robust enough for outdoor use. They provide good access and look professional.
The Texan Series 30" doors are functional and fit my outdoor kitchen opening well. They open and close smoothly, and the venting is a plus. While they're not the absolute highest-end doors I've seen, for the price, they're a good value and get the job done.
