Product Warranty Coverage
All Sunstone and Star BBQ warranties apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable. All warranties are strictly conditioned upon proper installation and usage per the official Sunstone Product Manual and Installation Guide. Damage from misuse, improper installation, commercial use, or failure to follow product manuals voids all warranty coverage.

Critical Installation Requirement
All warranties are strictly conditioned upon proper installation and usage. Every product must be installed exactly in accordance with the detailed instructions in the official Sunstone Product Manual and Installation Guide specific to that model. All warranties are VOID if installation and/or usage is not performed strictly in accordance with the product manual.

Grill & Burner Series: Limited Lifetime and 5 Year Warranty
✓ Firebox, Stainless Steel Housings & Frames: Limited Lifetime. Against defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use.
✓ Cooking Grates, Flavorizer Grids: 5 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
✓ Stainless Steel Burners, Brass Burners: 3 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
✓ Valves, Knobs, Lights, Electrical Parts: 3 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
Exclusions: Does not cover surface corrosion, rust, discoloration, scratches, normal wear and tear, or damage from high cooking temperatures, excessive humidity, chlorine, salt air, or weather exposure. All parts are limited to one-time replacement only. Non-transferable, original purchaser only.
Star BBQ: 3 Year Warranty and 3 Year Limited Surface Warranty
✓ Structure, Firebox, Housing & Frames: 3 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
✓ Powder Coatings (surface finish only, manufacturing defects, not wear, scratches, or damage): 3 Year Limited Surface Warranty. Manufacturing defects only.
✓ Knobs, Handles, Temperature Gauges, Covers, Legs, Wheels & All Other Parts and Components: 1 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
Exclusions: Does not cover surface corrosion, discoloration, scratches, normal wear and tear, or damage from misuse. All parts are limited to one-time replacement only. Non-transferable, original purchaser only.
Designer Cabinet Islands: Limited Lifetime and 5 Year Warranty
✓ Cabinetry & Structural Components: Limited Lifetime. Against defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use.
✓ Rod Handles, Legs, Trim Kits, Kick Plates, Panels: 5 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
Exclusions: Does not cover discoloration, surface corrosion, scratches, or damage from improper installation. All parts are limited to one-time replacement only. Non-transferable, original purchaser only.
ODK Component Series: 3 Year and 1 Year Warranty
✓ Frames, Door Panels, Structure: 3 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
✓ Hinges, Handles, Legs: 1 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
Exclusions: Does not cover discoloration, surface corrosion, or scratches from regular use. All parts are limited to one-time replacement only. Non-transferable, original purchaser only.
Appliance Stations: Limited Lifetime and 1 Year Warranty
✓ Sink Basin, Frame, Structure, Ice Box: Limited Lifetime. Against defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use.
✓ Handles, Drains, Soap Dispenser, Small Parts: 1 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
Exclusions: Does not cover discoloration, surface corrosion, scratches, or damage from improper installation or misuse. All parts are limited to one-time replacement only. Non-transferable, original purchaser only.
Electrical Appliances: Limited Lifetime and 1 Year Warranty
✓ Structural Components, Frames, Panels: Limited Lifetime. Against defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use.
✓ Compressors, Electrical Parts, Motors, Lights: 1 Year Warranty. Against defects in material and workmanship.
Exclusions: Does not cover damage from power surges, improper electrical installation, or misuse. All parts are limited to one-time replacement only. Non-transferable, original purchaser only.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
- ✕ Surface corrosion, rust, discoloration, scratches, or cosmetic changes
- ✕ Normal wear and tear
- ✕ Damage from high cooking temperatures, excessive humidity, chlorine, salt air, or weather exposure
- ✕ Misuse, abuse, alteration, tampering, accident, or neglect
- ✕ Improper or non-compliant installation
- ✕ Commercial, rental, or multi-family use
- ✕ Service or repairs by unauthorized persons or use of unauthorized parts
- ✕ Shipping, handling, export duties, installation, or reinstallation costs
- ✕ Incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or contingent damages
- ✕ Damage from accidents, grease fires, flashback fires, severe weather, or Acts of God
- ✕ Paint loss, surface rust, or stainless steel discoloration considered normal wear and tear
- ✕ Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or third-party online marketplaces
Authorized Sellers Only: Only purchases from authorized Sunstone dealers or distributors qualify for this factory-backed warranty. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, third-party online marketplaces (except authorized ones), "B-stock," open-box, refurbished, or used items carry no warranty. Contact Sunstone directly to verify authorized sellers.

- Grill & Burner Series: firebox and frames, Limited Lifetime; cooking grates, 5 years; burners, 3 years; valves, knobs and electrical, 3 years.
- Cabinet Islands: cabinetry, Limited Lifetime; handles, legs and trim, 5 years.
- All parts and accessories across all product lines are limited to one-time replacement only.
- Only purchases from authorized Sunstone dealers or distributors qualify for warranty coverage. Products from unauthorized sellers carry no warranty.
