Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
I just installed the DV1724 access door in my new outdoor kitchen island, and it's fantastic. The ability to choose left or right swing during installation made it super versatile for my design. It feels really sturdy and looks great with the rest of my Sunstone components.
This 17x24 vertical access door was exactly what I needed for my BBQ island. Installation was pretty straightforward, and I had no issues reversing the swing direction. My only minor gripe is that I wish it came with a handle that was a little more substantial, but it's still a great product.
The DV1724 door gets the job done for accessing my propane tank, and the size is good. However, compared to some other outdoor kitchen doors I've seen, the metal feels a little thinner than I expected for the price. It looks fine, but I'm hoping it holds up over time.
As a contractor who builds outdoor kitchens, I frequently recommend Sunstone products, and this DV1724 access door is no exception. The stainless steel is top-notch, and the flexibility of the left/right swing is a huge plus for custom builds. My clients are always impressed with the finished look.
I was looking for an affordable yet high-quality access door for my DIY outdoor kitchen project, and the DV1724 delivered. It integrates seamlessly and gives my setup a professional, finished look. I appreciate that it's designed to be installed either way, which saved me some planning headaches.
