Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
I just installed this Sunstone access door in my new outdoor kitchen island, and it's fantastic. The 14" x 20" size was exactly what I needed for my gas lines, and the right swing works perfectly with my layout. The venting is a great feature for safety and keeping things cool inside.
As a contractor, I appreciate quality, and this Sunstone door delivers. The stainless steel feels robust, not flimsy like some other brands. Installation was straightforward, and it really elevates the look of the outdoor cooking space I'm building for a client.
For the price, this access door is a steal. It looks much more expensive than it was and integrates seamlessly with my other stainless steel appliances. The horizontal vented design is a nice touch and keeps everything looking neat and tidy.
The door itself is pretty good quality for the price, and the venting is a plus. However, the hinge feels a little stiff when opening and closing, and it doesn't always close as smoothly as I'd like. Hopefully, it'll loosen up with time.
This Sunstone access door is a solid choice for an outdoor kitchen. The 14" x 20" size is practical, and the right swing works well for my setup. It's not a super high-end feel, but for the price, it definitely gets the job done and looks good.
