Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
I've been looking for a sturdy frame for my fire pit griddle, and this 24" BBQ Base Rim is perfect. The powder-coated steel feels super durable, and it holds my heavy cast iron griddle without any wobble. Setup was a breeze, and it really elevates my campfire cooking experience.
This rim does the job, providing good support for my grill insert over the fire. The powder coating seems robust, but for a 24-inch steel ring, I felt the $78 price tag was a little steep. It's functional, but not a mind-blowing value.
This Star BBQ base rim is exactly what I needed for my backyard fire pit. It's incredibly strong and stable, making it safe to cook directly over the flames. I've used it with a griddle and a grill grate, and it holds up perfectly every time. Highly recommend for any outdoor cooking enthusiast!
As a contractor, I appreciate well-built products, and this 24" BBQ base rim fits the bill. The heavy-duty steel construction is evident, and the powder coating looks like it will last through many seasons of outdoor use. It provides rock-solid support for my various cooking surfaces over the fire.
This rim has made my campfire grilling so much easier. It's very stable and the 24-inch size is just right for my standard grates. My only minor gripe is that I wish it came with some kind of adjustable height option, but for a fixed base, it's excellent quality.
