Description
The Sunstone 13" Companion Pro Grill Hood (SUN13CPRO-HOOD) turns the Companion Pro Grill burner (SUN13CPRO) into a standalone covered grill. With the hood on you can grill, sear, griddle, smoke and deep fry.
The hood is 304 stainless steel and matches the finish of the Companion Pro Grill. A built-in temperature gauge reads up to 800°F. The back venting system controls airflow, cuts down on flare-ups and shortens heat-up time. An integrated warming rack holds food at low heat while you cook.
It installs with the existing Companion Pro burner and vent panel and runs on propane or natural gas through that burner. It weighs about 15 lbs.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
If you received an item that appears to have been damaged in-transit, call us immediately at 888-934-9449 or 512-487-5116, preferably while the driver is still there.
Inspect all freight before signing the driver's receipt. If damage is found, do not reject the shipment, note the damage on the receipt and contact us. For concealed damage, a claim must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
FedEx and UPS claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. Freight shipper claims may take up to 120 calendar days.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
Items cannot have been installed or used. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges, unless the error is on our part. All returned goods must be in new condition and in original cartons, well packed.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This hood is exactly what my 13" Companion Pro needed. Installation was a breeze, and it fits like a glove. Now I can do so much more with my grill, especially with indirect cooking and keeping things warm.
The quality of this hood is undeniable, really well-built like all Sunstone products. It definitely transforms the Companion Pro into a more versatile unit, which is great. My only minor gripe is the price point, felt a little steep for just a hood.
I'm happy with the hood overall; it's sturdy and looks good with my outdoor kitchen. It really helps with heat retention for slower cooks. Just make sure you have enough clearance in your setup, as it adds a fair bit of height.
Wow, what a difference this hood makes! My little 13" Companion Pro is now a full-fledged mini-grill. I can smoke small cuts of meat and even bake, which I never thought possible with just the open grill. Highly recommend this upgrade.
