Description
The Signature Series 14" x 20" Beveled Frame Right Swing Horizontal Vented Door (BA-VDHR1420) is an access door for the space inside an outdoor kitchen island. Its bottom louvers let air move through, which matters where a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
It measures 23" W x 17" H x 3" D and fits a 21" W x 15" H cut-out. The door is vented with bottom louvers. This is the right swing version; the left swing version is item BA-VDHL1420. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4". It fits a typical 4" island frame.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It comes with the Signature Series Beveled Handle (zinc alloy, chrome plated).

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
This vented door is exactly what I needed for my outdoor kitchen island. The 14x20 size is perfect for my propane tank, and the right swing is super convenient for my setup. Installation was a breeze, and the beveled frame looks really sharp with my other Sunstone components.
The door itself is solid and the venting is good for my trash bin, but I expected a little more for the price. The finish is nice, but I've seen similar quality for less. It does the job, though, and matches my other Sunstone stuff.
I'm really impressed with the quality of this access door. The stainless steel feels durable, and the vented design is crucial for keeping my propane tank safe and accessible. The right swing works perfectly with my island layout, making it easy to get to everything.
This door was the finishing touch on my DIY outdoor kitchen. The beveled style really elevates the look, and the venting is a smart feature. It was straightforward to install, and the 14x20 opening is just right for what I needed.
As a serious BBQ enthusiast, having proper access and ventilation in my outdoor kitchen is key. This Sunstone door delivers on both. It's robust, the right swing is ideal, and it keeps my island looking clean and professional. Highly recommend!
