Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
This Sunstone access door is definitely built like a tank with that 304 stainless steel, which is great for my outdoor kitchen here in Florida. The beveled frame looks really sharp too. My only minor gripe is that the pre-drilled holes for the reversible hinge were a tiny bit off, making the door hang just a hair unevenly. Nothing a little shimming couldn't fix, but worth noting.
I'm a big BBQ enthusiast, and this 14" x 20" horizontal door was exactly what I needed for my custom island. The quality of the stainless steel is top-notch, and the interior framed-in door feels super sturdy. Installation was straightforward, and it really completes the look of my outdoor cooking space.
As a contractor who builds a lot of outdoor kitchens, I'm always looking for durable and aesthetically pleasing components. This Sunstone door hits both marks perfectly. The reversible feature is a huge plus for flexibility on site, and the all-weather construction means no call-backs for rust. My clients love the look.
We just finished our outdoor kitchen and this access door is a standout. The beveled frame gives it a really high-end, custom look that elevates the whole area. It feels incredibly solid when you open and close it, and I'm confident it will hold up to the elements for years to come.
The door itself is very well made, no doubt about the 304 stainless steel quality. It's sturdy and the 14x20 size was perfect for my propane tank storage. While it's a great product, I do feel the price point is a little on the higher side compared to some other options I considered, but you do get what you pay for in terms of durability.
