Description
The Signature Series 12" x 12" Beveled Frame Right Swing Vented Door (BA-VSDR12) is a small utility door for an outdoor kitchen island. It gives quick access to valves and utility lines, and the vents let air move through the island.
It measures 12" W x 12" H x 3" D, fits a 10-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H cut-out and suits a typical 4" island frame. This is the right swing version; the left swing version is item BA-VSDL12. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4".
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It closes with a turn-latch, so there is no handle.

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
This 12x12 vented access door is exactly what I needed for my outdoor kitchen island. The right swing is perfect for my setup and the ventilation is great for keeping the gas lines cool. Installation was a breeze, and it looks really sharp with the beveled style.
I'm a contractor, and I've installed a lot of outdoor kitchen components. This Sunstone access door is top-notch. The build quality is solid, and the vented design is crucial for safety and code compliance when you're dealing with gas and electrical. Clients are always happy with the look.
As a serious BBQ enthusiast, I appreciate good quality gear. This 12" x 12" access door from Sunstone is fantastic for getting to my plumbing connections under the counter. It feels sturdy, and the vented feature gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend for any outdoor cooking space.
The access door itself is fine; the 12x12 size is good and the ventilation works. However, for the price, I expected a slightly more robust feel to the latch mechanism. It does the job for my electrical access, but I've seen similar quality for less.
This 12" x 12" vented access door is a lifesaver for my outdoor bar area. I use it to get to my water lines and it's super convenient. The right swing works perfectly with the flow of my island, and the beveled style really adds a touch of class. Very happy with this purchase.
