Description
The Sunstone Classic Series Flush Style 12 In. x 12 In. Access Door is your perfect solution for Outdoor Plumbing, Gas, Electrical, or Safety Access great for multiple installation types like Dry-Wall Board, Brick, or Veneer Stone. In addition, this door is great for accessing the Bottom Vent of a Ceramic Grill and features a Turn-Latch which can be optionally replaced for a Locking Latch keeping internal components safe. The door is specially designed, so it can be turned 180 degrees allowing it to be opened either Left or Right Swing.
Proper Ventilation for Your Outdoor Kitchen Island To ensure proper ventilation, it's important to have at least two vents for each grill installation, one in the low position for Liquid Propane and one in the elevated position for Natural Gas. This allows for the proper circulation of air, keeping your outdoor kitchen island cool and comfortable. Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States. We can ship products anywhere in the contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
If you received an item that appears to have been damaged in-transit, call us immediately at 888-934-9449 or 512-487-5116, preferably while the driver is still there.
Inspect all freight before signing the driver's receipt. If damage is found, do not reject the shipment — note the damage on the receipt and contact us. For concealed damage, a claim must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
FedEx and UPS claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. Freight shipper claims may take up to 120 calendar days.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
Items cannot have been installed or used. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges, unless the error is on our part. All returned goods must be in new condition and in original cartons, well packed.
We highly recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

I needed a small access point for my gas line, and this 12x12 vented door from Sunstone was just the ticket. The flush style looks really clean with my stucco island. Installation was straightforward, and it feels very solid.
This little access door is exactly what I was looking for to hide some electrical connections in my new outdoor kitchen. The stainless steel feels durable, and the vented design is a nice touch for airflow. Sunstone really makes good stuff.
The C-VSDL12 is a decent access door for the price. It's sturdy and the left swing works well for my setup. My only small complaint is that the magnetic closure could be a bit stronger, but it's not a deal-breaker.
Used this for plumbing access under my outdoor sink. The 12"x12" size is perfect for getting to the shut-off valves, and the venting is good for keeping things aired out. It blends in nicely with the rest of my Sunstone components.
I'm super impressed with this Sunstone vented door. It's the ideal size for my gas tank access and the flush mount looks fantastic. The quality is top-notch, exactly what I expect from Sunstone Metal Products.
