Description
The Sunstone 42" 5-Burner Built-In Gas Grill w/IR (SUN5BIR) is a grill for an outdoor kitchen island, sized for large patio gatherings. It comes in natural gas or liquid propane.
Five burners put out up to 100,000 BTU across the 42" grilling area for zone cooking and searing. An infrared rotisserie burner (up to 15,000 BTU) roasts meats evenly, and a built-in smoker box and warming rack are included. The grates are 3/8" 304 stainless steel rods.
The grill is 304 stainless steel. Electronic ignition, interior lights for evening grilling and a roll-along drip tray for cleanup are standard. It hangs free in the island for airflow, so the island needs proper ventilation as described in the Sunstone Gas Grill Manual.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
If you received an item that appears to have been damaged in-transit, call us immediately at 888-934-9449 or 512-487-5116, preferably while the driver is still there.
Inspect all freight before signing the driver's receipt. If damage is found, do not reject the shipment, note the damage on the receipt and contact us. For concealed damage, a claim must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
FedEx and UPS claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. Freight shipper claims may take up to 120 calendar days.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
Items cannot have been installed or used. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges, unless the error is on our part. All returned goods must be in new condition and in original cartons, well packed.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This Sunstone 5-burner grill is a game-changer for our outdoor kitchen. The infrared burner sears steaks perfectly, and the overall build quality is incredibly solid. It was a breeze to install into our existing setup, and the natural gas option is so convenient.
We host a lot, and this 42-inch grill handles everything we throw at it, from burgers to whole chickens. The even heat distribution across all five burners is fantastic, and cleanup is surprisingly easy. Sunstone really delivered a premium product here.
As a contractor, I appreciate good craftsmanship, and this grill doesn't disappoint. The stainless steel is heavy-duty, and the infrared burner is a fantastic addition for getting that perfect crust. It integrated seamlessly into our custom outdoor kitchen island.
The cooking performance of this Sunstone grill is excellent, especially the infrared burner. However, for the price, I expected the grates to feel a bit more substantial. Also, the igniters can be a little finicky sometimes, requiring a couple of tries to light.
This 5-burner grill cooks really well and the infrared feature is a nice touch for searing. It looks great in our outdoor kitchen, but honestly, the cost felt a bit steep. I'm hoping the durability lives up to the premium price over the long run.
