Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
I recently moved to a new house that only had LP hookups, and I was dreading having to buy a new grill. This conversion kit for my 36" Ruby4BIR was a lifesaver! Installation was straightforward, and now my grill is running perfectly on propane. So glad Sunstone offers this option.
This R-CKRuby4BIR-LP kit made converting my grill from natural gas to liquid propane a breeze. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary parts were included. My Ruby4BIR is firing up just as strong as it did before, no issues with performance at all. Highly recommend for anyone needing to make the switch.
The conversion kit itself works exactly as advertised for my 36" Ruby4BIR grill. It got the job done, and now I can use LP. My only minor gripe is the price – it felt a bit steep for what's essentially a set of nozzles and a regulator, but it's a specialty item so I guess that's expected.
Couldn't be happier with this conversion kit. I'm a big BBQ enthusiast, and having the flexibility to switch fuel types is fantastic. The quality of the components in this R-CKRuby4BIR-LP kit is top-notch, exactly what I expect from Sunstone. My grill is now perfectly adapted for LP.
I'm a fairly handy homeowner, and I was able to install this conversion kit on my 36" Ruby4BIR without any professional help. The process was logical, and the grill fired right up on LP afterward. It's a solid product, though having a few more detailed diagrams in the instructions would have been a nice touch.
