Description
The Sunstone 6" Spacer Base Cabinet with Front and Back Interior Electrical Box (SBC6SPEL) adds power to an outdoor kitchen island. It has an integrated 1-gang electrical box with a cover in front for an outlet or a switch.
Next to the grill, it gives you a place to plug in the grill's interior lights and the powered rotisserie motor. In the prep zone, the fridge can plug into the back and a drink mixer into the front. The front cover can also be a light switch for the island lighting.
The cabinet is 304 stainless steel with a No. 4 horizontal light brushed finish and large 304 stainless steel rod handles, so it sits well with most other brands of grills and components. The back panel is finished, so it can go against a wall, stand in the open with stacked stone on either side, or become a moving cart with optional wheel casters.
It arrives fully assembled. You fasten the handles, hand-screw the two adjustable peg-legs in place and snap on the front and back kick-plates. Sunstone cabinets join with pin-locks: lift and drop each cabinet into the next. Much of the install needs no tools, and most configurations go together in less than an hour. Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
If you received an item that appears to have been damaged in-transit, call us immediately at 888-934-9449 or 512-487-5116, preferably while the driver is still there.
Inspect all freight before signing the driver's receipt. If damage is found, do not reject the shipment, note the damage on the receipt and contact us. For concealed damage, a claim must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
FedEx and UPS claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. Freight shipper claims may take up to 120 calendar days.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
Items cannot have been installed or used. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges, unless the error is on our part. All returned goods must be in new condition and in original cartons, well packed.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This 6-inch spacer cabinet was exactly what I needed to finish my outdoor kitchen. The integrated electrical box is a game-changer for my blender and charging my phone while grilling. Installation was straightforward, and it fits seamlessly with my other Sunstone cabinets.
I bought this to fill a small gap and add some power to my grilling station. The electrical box is well-placed, and the cover keeps things tidy. My only wish is that it came pre-wired, but running the conduit wasn't too bad.
This spacer cabinet is a really smart idea. Having an outlet right in the cabinet makes using small appliances outdoors so much easier, no more extension cords tripping people. It's solid stainless steel, so I know it will hold up to the elements.
The electrical box in this spacer cabinet is definitely useful for my outdoor bar area. It's a sturdy piece, but for just a 6-inch spacer, the price felt a little steep. I had to pay extra for the actual outlet to go in it, which was a minor annoyance.
