Description
The Texan Series 36" Double Access Door (Item No. TEX-DD36) is a double door for the area under a grill, a cleanup zone or a serving zone. It gives easy access to gas lines running to the grill and clear access to extra storage. The 30" size suits grills from 28" to 33", and the 36" size suits grills from 34" to 40".
The door measures 36" W x 21-1/8" H x 1-5/8" D and needs a cut-out of 33-1/2" W x 18-1/2" H. Both doors open up to 120 degrees, which keeps the panels from dinging the island's exterior finish.
The frame and paneling are 304 stainless steel, with two solid 304 stainless steel rod handles. Its height matches the other Texan Series components. The even-toned No. 4 horizontal light brushed finish and large stainless steel rod handles sit well next to most other brands of grills and components. Texan Series components are built by Sunstone Metal Products LLC, a Texas company.

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
These TEX-DD36 doors are pretty good. They fit perfectly under my 36-inch grill head, which was exactly what I needed. The stainless steel feels sturdy enough for outdoor use, and they open and close smoothly.
I got these doors for my new outdoor kitchen setup. While they look okay once installed, the metal feels a little thinner than I expected for the price. They do the job for storage, but I wouldn't call them heavy-duty.
The TEX-DD36 double access doors were a breeze to install and look fantastic in my new outdoor cooking area. The 36-inch size is perfect for my larger grill, giving me plenty of space to store propane and tools. Very happy with the clean, modern look.
These doors are exactly what I was looking for to complete my DIY BBQ island. The dimensions were spot on, making installation straightforward. They provide easy access to the plumbing and gas lines, and they clean up nicely.
Wow, these Sunstone Texan Series doors exceeded my expectations! The stainless steel is top-notch, and the construction feels incredibly robust. They've really elevated the look and functionality of my outdoor kitchen. Absolutely worth every penny!
