Description
The Texan Series 30" Double Access Door (Item No. TEX-DD30) is a double door for the area under a grill, a cleanup zone or a serving zone. It gives easy access to gas lines running to the grill and clear access to extra storage. The 30" size suits grills from 28" to 33", and the 36" size suits grills from 34" to 40".
The door measures 30" W x 21-1/8" H x 1-5/8" D and needs a cut-out of 27-1/2" W x 18-1/2" H. Both doors open up to 120 degrees, which keeps the panels from dinging the island's exterior finish. It weighs 25 lbs.
The frame and paneling are 304 stainless steel, with two solid 304 stainless steel rod handles. Its height matches the other Texan Series components. The even-toned No. 4 horizontal light brushed finish and large stainless steel rod handles sit well next to most other brands of grills and components. Texan Series components are built by Sunstone Metal Products LLC, a Texas company.

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
These Texan Series doors are pretty solid for the money. They fit perfectly under my 30-inch grill head, which was a relief. Installation was straightforward, and they feel sturdy enough for regular use in my outdoor kitchen.
The TEX-DD30 doors are okay. They look decent once installed, but I noticed a slight wobble in one of the hinges after a few weeks. For the price, I expected a little more rigidity, but it's not a dealbreaker.
Absolutely thrilled with these 30-inch double access doors! They integrated seamlessly into my new outdoor kitchen setup and the stainless steel matches my other appliances perfectly. Plenty of storage space behind them for my grilling tools and propane tank.
As a contractor, I've installed a lot of outdoor kitchen components, and these Sunstone Texan Series doors are a good option. They're well-built and the 30-inch size is versatile for many grill setups. My client was very happy with the final look.
Wow, these TEX-DD30 doors are fantastic! The quality of the stainless steel is top-notch, and the magnetic closures are strong and secure. It really elevates the look of my BBQ island and keeps everything organized and protected from the elements. Highly recommend!
