Description
The Signature Series 12" x 12" Beveled Frame Left Swing Vented Door (BA-VSDL12) is a small utility door for an outdoor kitchen island. It gives quick access to valves and utility lines, and the vents let air move through the island.
It measures 12" W x 12" H x 3" D, fits a 10-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H cut-out and suits a typical 4" island frame. This is the left swing version; the right swing version is item BA-VSDR12. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4".
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It closes with a turn-latch, so there is no handle.

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
This Sunstone access door was exactly what my outdoor kitchen island needed. The 16 gauge 304 stainless steel feels incredibly sturdy and the left swing is perfect for my setup. Installation was a breeze and it really elevates the whole look.
I'm really impressed with the build quality of this vented access door. The stainless steel is top-notch and it feels very secure, which is important for storing my propane tank. It integrates seamlessly and the ventilation is a nice touch.
For $128, this Sunstone door is an absolute steal. The craftsmanship is evident, and it's clear this isn't some flimsy piece of metal. It's truly a versatile solution for any outdoor kitchen, keeping things tidy and protected.
As a contractor, I appreciate well-made products, and this Sunstone door fits the bill. The solid stainless steel construction means it will hold up to the elements, and the vented design is smart for airflow. It's a reliable choice for any outdoor kitchen project.
The door itself is solid and the stainless steel looks good, no complaints there. My only minor issue was that the pre-drilled holes for mounting weren't perfectly aligned, which made installation a little more finicky than it should have been. Still, it's a decent product once it's in.
