Description
The Signature Series 14" x 20" Beveled Frame Left Swing Horizontal Vented Door (BA-VDHL1420) is an access door for the space inside an outdoor kitchen island. Its bottom louvers let air move through, which matters where a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
It measures 23" W x 17" H x 3" D and fits a 21" W x 15" H cut-out. The door is vented with bottom louvers. This is the left swing version; the right swing version is item BA-VDHR1420. The door opens 120 degrees on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. Depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4". It fits a typical 4" island frame.
The frame is 16 gauge 304 stainless steel and the door panel is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, with a No. 4 light brushed finish and the beveled frame that matches the rest of the Signature Series. It comes with the Signature Series Beveled Handle (zinc alloy, chrome plated).

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
This vented door from Sunstone is pretty solid. The 14x20 size was perfect for my outdoor kitchen island to access the propane tank. Installation was straightforward, and the left swing works great with my setup.
I'm happy with this Signature Series door. The beveled frame gives it a nice finished look, and the ventilation is key for the propane tank. It feels sturdy and matches the other Sunstone components well.
The door itself is fine and does the job for accessing my trash bin. However, for a 14x20 vented door, I felt $150 was a little on the high side. It's good quality, but the value could be better.
Absolutely love this vented access door! The 14x20 size is ideal for my outdoor kitchen island, allowing easy access to my propane tank. The left swing is super convenient, and the overall construction is top-notch. Highly recommend!
This Sunstone door is exactly what I needed. The ventilation is crucial for safety with the propane, and the build quality is fantastic. It looks sharp with the beveled style and was a breeze to install in my new outdoor kitchen.
