Description
The Sunstone Deep Fryer and Steamer Grill Insert (SUNCP-FRYER) is a steamer, deep fryer and boiler that sits right in your Sunstone, Ruby or Companion Pro grill. Remove a single cooking grate and drop it in, then heat oil in the reservoir for wings, fries, tempura and poppers, or water for steaming and boiling.
It comes fully assembled and includes the large reservoir, a perforated steaming insert for vegetables and other food, a commercial-sized fryer basket that holds enough fried chicken for a group, and a stainless steel cover. Use one by itself, or set several side by side for more frying space.
The insert is 18 gauge 304 stainless steel, so it resists rust and corrosion and does not warp under high heat. Overall size is 10-3/8" W x 5" H x 19-1/8" D.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
If you received an item that appears to have been damaged in-transit, call us immediately at 888-934-9449 or 512-487-5116, preferably while the driver is still there.
Inspect all freight before signing the driver's receipt. If damage is found, do not reject the shipment, note the damage on the receipt and contact us. For concealed damage, a claim must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
FedEx and UPS claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. Freight shipper claims may take up to 120 calendar days.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
Items cannot have been installed or used. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges, unless the error is on our part. All returned goods must be in new condition and in original cartons, well packed.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

This deep fryer insert is a game-changer for my outdoor kitchen! We fried up some wings and fries last weekend, and they came out perfectly crispy. The stainless steel reservoir heats up fast and is super easy to clean afterward.
I've been wanting a dedicated steamer for crabs and corn, and this Sunstone insert delivered! It fits right into my grill, and the basket is a good size for a decent batch. No more hauling out extra pots and burners.
The fryer insert works as advertised, and the build quality is solid stainless steel. It's great for occasional use, but for the price, I was hoping for a slightly larger capacity basket. It does the job, just wish it held a bit more.
This fryer/steamer is a solid addition to our outdoor cooking setup. We've used it for deep-frying fish and steaming vegetables, and it performs well. Installation was straightforward, and it integrates nicely with the rest of our Sunstone components.
It's a well-made unit, and the stainless steel is durable. However, I find myself not using it as much as I thought I would. It's good for specific tasks like frying, but for general outdoor cooking, I tend to stick with the grill grates.
