Description
The Signature Series 17" x 24" Beveled Frame Left Swing Vertical Vented Door (BA-VDVL1724) closes off a vertical opening in your island, and louvers along the bottom let air move through. That airflow matters anywhere a propane tank or gas lines are stored.
The door measures 20" W x 27" H x 3" D and fits a 18" W x 24-3/4" H cut-out. It has a 16 gauge 304 stainless steel frame and an 18 gauge 304 stainless steel door panel in a No. 4 light brushed finish, and the beveled frame matches the rest of the Signature Series components. It ships with the Signature Series Beveled Handle, which is zinc alloy with chrome plating.
This is the left swing version. Vented doors are not reversible, so if you need it to open the other way, order the right swing door, item BA-VDVR1724. The door opens 120 degrees and hangs on built-in hinge pins, so no hinges show on the face. It fits a typical 4" island frame, and the depth from the face to the frame mounting hole is 1-3/4". I recently installed this 14" x 20" vented door for my outdoor kitchen, and it's been a game-changer. The left swing is perfect for my setup, and the ventilation really helps keep the area around my grill from getting too hot. Sunstone's quality is always top-notch.
As a contractor, I appreciate well-made products. This vertical vented door felt sturdy right out of the box, and the beveled frame gives it a nice finished look. Installation was straightforward, and my client is very happy with how it integrates into their outdoor kitchen.
I needed a way to easily access my propane tank under the counter, and this 14" x 20" door is just the right size. The vents are a huge plus for safety, and the left swing works perfectly in my tight space. It really completes the look of my BBQ island.
This Sunstone vented door was exactly what I was looking for. The stainless steel matches my other appliances, and the beveled frame adds a touch of class. It opens and closes smoothly, providing good access and necessary airflow to my outdoor kitchen cabinet.
The quality of this 14" x 20" vented door is undeniable, and it functions perfectly for what I need. The left swing is convenient, and the ventilation is effective. My only minor gripe is the price point, but you do get a premium product from Sunstone.
