Description
The Sunstone impulse igniter wire for the infra-red burner (Item No. P-GIMwire-IR) is an OEM replacement that restores ignition to the back infra-red burner on Sunstone gas grills. It fits 28", 34" and 42" models.
The wire plugs directly into the electronic igniter and produces a consistent ignition arc. It is made from heat-resistant components built to Sunstone's manufacturing standards. Replacing the wire restores ignition without replacing the whole burner.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
If you received an item that appears to have been damaged in-transit, call us immediately at 888-934-9449 or 512-487-5116, preferably while the driver is still there.
Inspect all freight before signing the driver's receipt. If damage is found, do not reject the shipment, note the damage on the receipt and contact us. For concealed damage, a claim must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
FedEx and UPS claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. Freight shipper claims may take up to 120 calendar days.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
Items cannot have been installed or used. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges, unless the error is on our part. All returned goods must be in new condition and in original cartons, well packed.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

My old igniter wire for the infrared burner finally gave out after a few years of heavy use. This P-GIMwire-IR was a perfect fit and got my grill sparking again. Installation was straightforward, took me about 10 minutes.
Needed a new igniter wire for the infrared burner on my Sunstone grill, and this P-GIMwire-IR did the trick. It's a direct replacement, so no surprises there. The grill fires up reliably now, which is exactly what I needed.
So happy I found this P-GIMwire-IR! My infrared burner wasn't igniting and I was worried I'd need a whole new burner. This wire was easy to install and now my searing zone is working perfectly again. Steak nights are saved!
The P-GIMwire-IR works, no doubt about that, and it's essential for the infrared burner. However, $25 for a single igniter wire feels a little steep. It was easy enough to swap out, but I wish the cost was a bit lower.
Got this P-GIMwire-IR to fix my non-firing infrared burner. It works, but I had to really make sure the connection was snug on both ends. It's a functional replacement, just double-check your install.
