Description
The Ruby Cooking Grates with Solid Steel Griddle (Ruby-GR5B-Griddle) fit the 42" Ruby 5B grill. The set combines 304 stainless steel grates with a round inset solid steel griddle, so you can grill on one part of the surface and sear or sauté on the flat griddle.
The solid steel griddle holds heat and spreads it evenly. The stainless grates resist rust and corrosion. The set weighs about 15 lbs and drops into the grill without tools or modifications, and it lifts out for cleaning. For natural gas or propane models. See our warranty page for coverage.

Customer reviews
About our reviews: they come from verified direct customers and from our authorized dealer network, including Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon and other Sunstone dealers.
These 304 SS grates are a solid upgrade for my Ruby 42" grill, no doubt about it. They clean up nice and seem like they'll last forever. My only gripe is that solid steel griddle insert – it's incredibly heavy to move around, especially when hot. Makes cleaning a bit of a chore.
I've been wanting a griddle for my Ruby 5B for ages, and this one is fantastic. The solid steel heats up evenly, and I've made some amazing breakfasts out there. The round inset design fits perfectly, and the stainless steel grates are a great bonus.
Wow, this griddle completely transforms my grilling experience! The solid steel gets incredibly hot, giving me those perfect restaurant-quality sears on steaks and smash burgers. It's built like a tank and fits my 42-inch Ruby grill like it was custom-made.
If you own a Ruby 42" 5B grill, you need this griddle and grate set. The 304 SS grates are super durable, and that solid steel griddle opens up so many new cooking possibilities. From fajitas to pancakes, it's a game-changer for outdoor cooking.
I'm really impressed with the quality of these cooking grates and the solid steel griddle. Everything feels heavy-duty and well-made, exactly what I expect from Sunstone. It was a breeze to drop into my 42-inch Ruby grill, and the cooking surface is fantastic.
