Description
The 20" Sunstone Universal Appliance Jacket (SUNJK20) is a double-walled 304 stainless steel enclosure for installing a power burner in an outdoor kitchen or BBQ island. It provides the heat barrier and venting the burner needs and takes multiple burner brands out of the box with minor assembly.
It fits most power burners up to 14" W x 22" D x 10" H, or 12" H with the vent panel removed. The jacket itself needs an 18-3/4" W x 24-1/4" D x 13" H cut-out and allows zero clearance installation. Refer to the product specification sheet for specific appliance details.
A self-supporting raised ledge runs around the sides and back. Vents at the lower front edge and upper back edge pass excess heat and gas through. Covered utility ports on both sides let you open only the one your gas or electrical line uses. It works with natural gas or propane. See our warranty page for coverage.

Shipping & returns
Shipping & Delivery
All orders ship free to the 48 contiguous United States.
Larger (freight) shipments are curb-side only. A signature and possibly assistance may be required for unloading. We will work with you to arrange a delivery date and time, but the final details will be between you and the freight carrier.
IMPORTANT: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE UNLESS WHITE GLOVE FEES ARE PAID. All reports of damage must be made within 48 hours after delivery.
Receiving Your Shipment
If you received an item that appears to have been damaged in-transit, call us immediately at 888-934-9449 or 512-487-5116, preferably while the driver is still there.
Inspect all freight before signing the driver's receipt. If damage is found, do not reject the shipment, note the damage on the receipt and contact us. For concealed damage, a claim must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
FedEx and UPS claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. Freight shipper claims may take up to 120 calendar days.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 60 days of original purchase, in original packaging and unused, for a full refund minus a 15% Restocking Fee.
Items cannot have been installed or used. Customer is responsible for all return freight charges, unless the error is on our part. All returned goods must be in new condition and in original cartons, well packed.
We recommend insuring products when shipping back to us. Returns will be rejected if the product is received damaged.

I got this jacket for my power burner, and while the quality of the stainless steel is good, I had to do a bit of finagling to get it to fit perfectly. My burner's cutout was just at the edge of the 14" width, so it was a tight squeeze. It works, but definitely measure twice.
The Universal Appliance Jacket does its job of protecting the cutout for my power burner. The construction is solid, as expected from Sunstone. However, for a relatively simple piece of metal, the price felt a little steep. It's functional, but not groundbreaking.
This jacket was exactly what I needed for my outdoor kitchen island. My power burner dropped right in with no issues, thanks to the generous 22" depth. The stainless steel matches my other Sunstone components perfectly and it looks really clean and professional.
I'm really impressed with the build quality of this appliance jacket. The heavy-gauge stainless steel feels incredibly durable and it was super easy to install into my custom outdoor kitchen. It perfectly frames my power burner and gives a finished look to the whole setup.
The stainless steel on this jacket is top-notch, no complaints there. My power burner fit within the stated maximum dimensions, but it felt like there wasn't much wiggle room. It's a good product, but 'universal' might be a strong word depending on your specific burner's exact measurements.
